Originally from Florida and starting in 1978, he played in numerous bands with genres including classic rock, heavy metal and country. Mark was fortunate to possess a sound system from the start which provided him with an education in sound that continues to this day. In 1987 he met country artist, JIM FRAZIER Shortly thereafter, they moved to Nashville, Tennessee to record an album where he met a Producer, the late ANDY CARTER ANDERSON, who, over the next 35 years, would be a great friend and together, among many other things, created albums for new artists Mark would find to prepare them for their new career. They also built and wired studios, drove artist tour buses and played music the correct way.
Mark also provided sound for a popular country artist on many shows and on a later tour, Mark put a band together and played bass.
In 2004, Mark worked with THE MUSIC FACTORY in Lebanon, TN, as wiring technician, as stage manager, as lead camera man and as co-producer for their television show.
Mark has opened for RONNIE MILSAP, TRENT WILMAN, RHETT ATKINS, SAWYER BROWN, THE GRASS ROOTS AND LITTLE TEXAS and worked live sound with RARE EARTH, THE LOVIN' SPOONFUL, THE ROMANTICS and FIREFALL.
Mark's life is, and always has been, surrounded by music and he is proud to be a RIVER PIRATE.
